Nonpublic schools may allow students enrolled in nonaccredited private elementary or secondary schools to participate in activities regulated by the Kansas State High School Activities Association (K.S.A. 72-7114)

Eligible students must be Kansas residents, meet applicable age and eligibility requirements, pay standard participation fees, and receive permission from the nonpublic school's governing body

Participating students receive the same rights and responsibilities as other students and must meet the same tryout and participation requirements

Nonpublic schools and the activities association are prohibited from discriminating against students based on their enrollment status

The moratorium provisions on interscholastic activities during Sundays, holidays, and Wednesday evenings (shown in brackets) were removed by the Senate Committee of the Whole amendment
