Prohibits all forms of ranked-choice voting for determining the election or nomination of candidates to any federal, state, county, or municipal office in Kansas

Defines ranked-choice voting as a method allowing voters to rank two or more candidates by preference, with ballots tabulated in multiple rounds eliminating the lowest vote-getter until one candidate achieves a majority

Voids any ordinance, resolution, or regulation implementing ranked-choice voting that was adopted prior to July 1, 2025

Takes effect upon publication in the Kansas Register
