Recognizes Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA), the oldest Greek-letter organization established by African American college-educated women, founded at Howard University in 1908

AKA has more than 355,000 initiated members in chapters across the United States and internationally, including locations in the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Dubai, Germany, Japan, Liberia, Nigeria, South Korea, South Africa, and the U.S. Virgin Islands

Kansas has five graduate chapters and four undergraduate chapters at the University of Kansas, Kansas State University, Washburn University, and Wichita State University

The sorority's mission focuses on five tenets: cultivating high scholastic and ethical standards, promoting unity and friendship among college women, alleviating problems concerning girls and women, maintaining interest in college life, and providing "Service to All Mankind"

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to send enrolled copies to the presidents of Kansas AKA chapters and the sponsoring Senator Oletha Faust Goudeau
