Legislative Description

Urge Kentucky's public postsecondary institutions to identify Kentucky children whose biological parents are deceased or have had their parental rights terminated due to abuse or neglect, and have been legally adopted by a blood relative or were assigned a permanent legal guardian by a court; urge the postsecondary institutions to consider those students' hardships in making admissions, scholarship, and grant decisions in recognition of the relief those families have provided the Commonwealth.
