Eliminates all cost-sharing requirements (deductibles, copays, coinsurance) for mammograms, diagnostic breast examinations, and supplemental breast examinations under health insurance policies in Kentucky, effective January 1, 2027

Expands annual mammogram coverage to begin at age 40 instead of age 50, and removes the previous limitation of mammograms every two years for ages 40-49

Requires coverage of preventive breast cancer screenings without cost-sharing for individuals at increased risk, those with dense breast tissue, or those whose providers determine screening is needed based on age, race, ethnicity, or medical history

Applies to all health benefit plans including short-term coverage, student health insurance, state employee plans, and self-insured plans offered by state postsecondary educational institutions

Screenings must follow American College of Radiology Appropriateness Criteria or National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines and may include 2D/3D mammograms, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
