Increases the mandatory insurance coverage cap for hearing aids for children under 18 from $1,400 to $2,500 per hearing-impaired ear every 36 months

Expands the definition of "hearing aid" to include any wearable device designed to aid or compensate for impaired hearing, including parts, attachments, and earmolds (excluding batteries and cords)

Adds a new definition for "related services" covering assessment, selection, and fitting services necessary for optimal hearing aid performance

Requires insurers using networks for hearing aids to maintain reasonably adequate and accessible networks with sufficient audiologists meeting managed care standards under KRS 304.17A-515

Applies to health benefit plans issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2027
