Adds a requirement for at least 8 hours of crisis intervention and de-escalation training to the mandatory basic training curriculum for all law enforcement officers in Kentucky

Requires the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet to provide crisis intervention and de-escalation training as part of mandatory in-service training for all certified peace officers every 2 years

Allows both domestic violence/abuse training and crisis intervention/de-escalation training to be completed using currently available technology

Amends KRS 15.334, which governs Kentucky Law Enforcement Council training requirements, by adding crisis intervention and de-escalation to existing mandated subjects including elder abuse, domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, and female genital mutilation
