All permits to take Lower Ohio River trophy catfish expire May 31, 2027, with no new permits issued after that date and existing permits non-transferable once the Act takes effect

Prohibits transporting live trophy catfish except by boat while actively engaged in legal commercial or recreational fishing with proper permits

Violations of the live transport prohibition constitute a Class A misdemeanor for first offense and Class D felony for subsequent offenses
