Removes hepatitis B from the list of required childhood immunizations, which currently includes diphtheria, tetanus, poliomyelitis, pertussis, measles, rubella, mumps, and haemophilus influenzae disease

Prohibits the Cabinet for Health and Family Services from adding any new required immunizations through administrative regulation without approval from the General Assembly

Eliminates the prior provision allowing the Cabinet to require additional immunizations based on recommendations from the United States Public Health Service or the American Academy of Pediatrics

Removes the separate requirement for sixth-grade students to have a hepatitis B immunization certificate on file at public or private primary schools
