Expands the definition of "fire protection official" to include the state fire marshal, fire chiefs, fire marshals employed by local government agencies, and local appeals boards acting under KRS 227.325

Grants local fire protection officials the same enforcement authority previously held exclusively by the state fire marshal, including the ability to seek restraining orders, temporary injunctions, and permanent injunctions

Maintains existing penalties for willful violations of fire protection regulations, including suspension or revocation of certificates, licenses, or permits, or administrative fines up to $1,000

Allows fire protection officials (not just the state fire marshal) to bring enforcement actions and refer criminal violations to county attorneys, Commonwealth's attorneys, or the Attorney General

Requires all enforcement actions for fire code violations to be brought in Circuit Court in the name of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
