Kentucky Department of Education must develop a career pathway or program focused on performing arts education to be offered in locally and state-operated career and technical education programs

Amends KRS 158.814 to add performing arts alongside existing career and technical education programming options for secondary students

Career and Technical Education Advisory Committee (established in KRS 156.806) must be consulted in implementing the new performing arts pathway requirements

Existing law requires the Department of Education to review equipment/facilities standards and assess statewide capital needs for career and technical education programs, which would apply to new performing arts offerings
