Requires the Transportation Cabinet to promulgate emergency and ordinary administrative regulations to extend the allowable time length of limited commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) to the maximum permitted under federal law

Increases the allowable usage period for limited CDLs from 180 days to 210 days within a 12-month period, aligning Kentucky with federal regulation 49 C.F.R. sec. 383.3(f)(3)(ii) amended on September 29, 2022

Declares an emergency exists because the Transportation Cabinet has not taken action to comply with the federal regulation change since 2022

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law
