Amends Kentucky workplace violence prevention laws (KRS 216.701-216.709) to expand the definition of "health care worker" to include anyone with direct patient contact for medical care or emergency response situations potentially involving violence

Creates a "safe harbor" compliance pathway allowing health facilities to satisfy workplace safety requirements through national accreditation (CMS-approved) or Medicare/Medicaid certification, provided they submit annual attestations confirming they maintain safety plans, provide violence prevention training, and prohibit retaliation against workers who report incidents

Requires all health facilities to display prominent warning signs (minimum 8.5" x 11", 16-point font) at entrances, waiting areas, and emergency rooms stating that threatening behavior toward health care workers could result in felony conviction

Mandates health facilities develop internal reporting systems for workplace violence, maintain incident records for 5 years, train workers on reporting procedures, and annually review incidents for patterns while updating safety plans accordingly

Requires facilities to follow up with individuals who experienced workplace violence, inform them of actions taken, and provide access to physical and mental health resources
