Adds code enforcement officers employed by consolidated local governments to the definition of "hazardous position" for County Employees Retirement System purposes, making them eligible for hazardous duty retirement benefits

Qualifying code enforcement officers must have duties including investigation, inspection, and issuance of citations for violations related to facilities, hazardous materials, land development, and zoning

Officers must meet existing hazardous position requirements: frequent exposure to high degree of danger or peril, high degree of physical conditioning required, and duties not primarily clerical or administrative

Applies to both employees who began participating before September 1, 2008 and those who began on or after that date, with slightly different qualification criteria for each group

Amends KRS 78.5520 to include these positions alongside existing hazardous categories such as police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and correctional officers
