Amends KRS 16.197 governing eligibility requirements for retired Kentucky State Police officers to return as Trooper R Class or commercial vehicle enforcement officer R class

Requires returning officers to have been separated from the Department of Kentucky State Police for at least 1 month but no more than 60 months

Adds new provision allowing the separation period to be calculated from the individual's latest separation date if they have previously served in the R class position

Maintains existing requirements: minimum 20 years of service credit at retirement, no pending administrative charges, and no pre-existing return-to-work agreements
