Amends KRS 67.035 to allow sheriffs and county clerks in counties with more than 750 square miles of land area to establish branch offices outside the county seat, when authorized by fiscal court resolution

Permits appointment of one or more deputies for branch offices, with salaries, rent, and operational expenses treated as necessary expenses paid under existing law

Branch offices may perform the same functions as county seat offices, though all records must be maintained at the county seat

Fiscal court determines the operating period and office hours for branch offices, with deputy compensation set using the same method as county seat deputies

Sheriffs and county clerks remain liable on their bonds for all funds collected through branch offices
