Expands Kentucky's Dual Credit Scholarship Program to include eligible high school apprentices enrolled in registered teacher apprenticeship programs, effective with the 2027-2028 academic year

Allows eligible high school apprentices to receive up to 20 dual credit courses total (maximum 8 per academic year) for courses required for admission to teacher education programs and initial teacher certification

Requires teacher apprenticeship programs to be offered by school districts in partnership with postsecondary institutions, approved by the Education and Labor Cabinet, and designed to provide pathways to teacher certification and employment

Students in teacher apprenticeship programs must maintain a grade of C or higher on scholarship-funded courses and complete at least one teaching and learning career pathway course annually; those who withdraw or fail to meet requirements must repay scholarship funds exceeding standard dual credit limits

School districts offering eligible programs must establish postsecondary partnerships, ensure dual credit course transferability, and commit to offering full-time teaching positions to program completers when vacancies permit
