Expands certified court security officers' duties to include transporting prisoners and other individuals being detained or in custody as ordered by the court, not just prisoners

Authorizes certified court security officers to arrest and take individuals into custody while transporting, monitoring, or supervising court-ordered individuals, in addition to within the court facility

Adds certified court security officers as authorized personnel to transport individuals for involuntary psychiatric hospitalization under KRS 202A.028 and KRS 202A.101

Transportation costs for certified court security officers performing psychiatric patient transports will be paid by the cabinet according to administrative regulations under KRS Chapter 13A

Amends KRS 70.280, 202A.028, and 202A.101 to incorporate these expanded duties and include certified court security officers alongside sheriffs and peace officers in transport provisions
