Expands KRS 422.305 to apply to all "medical providers" rather than only hospitals, broadening which healthcare entities must comply with subpoena procedures for medical records

Requires subpoenas duces tecum for medical records to be served no later than 14 days prior to the date commanding appearance and production of the requested charts or records

Maintains existing procedures allowing medical providers to elect to provide certified copies of records instead of original documents, upon notification to the requesting attorney and payment of estimated reproduction expenses

Requires certifications of medical record copies to be notarized and include patient name, medical record number, page count, and attestation that copies are true reproductions made in the regular course of business
