Cities with a population of 20,000 or more within a county containing a consolidated local government may establish their own board of zoning adjustment by ordinance, with exclusive jurisdiction within that city's territorial boundaries.

Amends KRS 100.217 to add gender-neutral language, changing "his" to "his or her" regarding officer reelection eligibility for boards of adjustment.

Applies specifically to consolidated local governments where a planning agreement is not required, creating an exception to the single board of adjustment requirement for qualifying cities.
