UPS Airlines Flight 2976, a cargo flight from Louisville to Honolulu, crashed on November 4, 2025, after its left engine separated during takeoff, killing 15 people (3 crew members and 12 on the ground) and injuring 22 others

The Senate adjourns in honor and loving memory of the victims, including Captain Dana Diamond (62), Captain Richard Wartenberg (57), First Officer Lee Truitt (45), and 12 individuals killed on the ground

Commends the extensive emergency response involving over 20 fire departments, multiple law enforcement agencies including FBI and ATF, and numerous EMS crews from across the Louisville region and beyond

Recognizes additional support from Louisville Metro Government, the Kentucky Governor's Office, the FAA, National Transportation Safety Board, and various utility and emergency management agencies

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution to Senator Keturah Herron for delivery to victims' families and responding agencies
