Senate resolution honoring Bias Sidney Tilford, Sr. (1933-2026), who passed away on February 12, 2026 at age 92

Tilford was a pioneer in audiovisual technology, working concurrently for IBM and WLEX-TV, where he served on the production team for The Adolph Rupp Sunday Show featuring the University of Kentucky basketball coach

Served as a photographer for the Louisville Defender newspaper and as a political advisor and photographer to former Kentucky House Speaker William "Bill" Kenton

Held multiple civic positions in Georgetown, Kentucky, including service on the Georgetown Planning Commission and Georgetown City Council, and was inducted with his wife Barbara into the NAACP of Kentucky Hall of Fame

Senate adjourns in his honor and directs the Clerk to transmit a copy of the resolution to Senator Gerald Neal for delivery to the family
