Resolution adjourns the Kentucky Senate in honor and loving memory of Charles "Charlie" Ray Edmonds, who was born February 11, 1938, in Burna, Kentucky, and passed away February 11, 2026

Edmonds served on the Benton City Council for over 25 years and was a longtime member of Christian Fellowship Church

Owned and operated local restaurants including Burger Queen, Druther's, and Dairy Queen, and partnered in other businesses including Calvert City Shell and Willow Pond in Eddyville

Survived by wife Wilma Edmonds (married 56 years), three children, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Senator Danny Carroll for delivery to the family
