Hamilton worked 45 years as a real estate agent, owned her own company, was named Realtor of the Year in 2022 among more than 4,000 industry professionals, and was appointed by the Governor to the Kentucky Real Estate Commission

Served 15 years on the Board of Trustees for Georgetown Community Hospital and was an original board member of the Euko-En on the Elkhorn Japanese Friendship Garden, participating in the 1988 Sister City delegation to Tahara Cho, Japan

Survived by husband William "Bill" Hamilton (married 47 years), three children, one sister, and 11 grandchildren

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit a copy of the resolution to Senator Matt Nunn for delivery to the family
