Designates November 2026 as Grieving Children and Families Month in Kentucky

Kentucky ranks 6th nationally in childhood bereavement, with 1 in 10 children losing a parent or sibling before age 18

Children who lose a father are 18% less likely to attend college; adults aged 35-44 who lost a parent before age 19 are 35% more likely to have poor health outcomes

Commends the Kentucky Center for Grieving Children and Families and other organizations supporting grieving youth and families

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to transmit a copy to Senator Stephen Meredith for delivery to the Kentucky Center for Grieving Children and Families
