Kentucky Senate resolution honoring the Murray State University Racers baseball team for their first-ever trip to the 2025 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska

Racers defeated Duke Blue Devils 5-4 on June 9, 2025 to win the Durham Super Regional, becoming only the fourth team seeded fourth in a regional to advance to the CWS in NCAA Tournament history

Team finished 2025 season with a school-record 44 wins against 17 losses, led by Head Coach Dan Skirka (209 career wins in seven seasons)

Racers qualified for NCAA Tournament by winning the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament championship, their first since joining the conference in 2022
