Kentucky Senate recognizes September 10, 2026 through November 1, 2026 as a voluntary time of prayer, fasting, and reflection in connection with the Nehemiah Alliance National 52-Day Rebuild Initiative.

Encourages Kentuckians who choose to participate in the initiative to join via www.na52.org for what is described as a call for spiritual renewal, unity, and national restoration.

The initiative is timed to coincide with America's 250th anniversary and draws inspiration from the biblical account of Nehemiah rebuilding Jerusalem's walls in 52 days.

Notes Kentucky connections: the Nehemiah Alliance founders have Kentucky roots, and President Abraham Lincoln (a Kentucky native) issued a similar proclamation for national fasting and prayer in 1863.

Directs the Senate Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to Senator Lindsey Tichenor for delivery to the Nehemiah Alliance.
