Survived by wife Tonya Hatt, three children (Austin Hinshaw, Autumn Hatt, and Alayna Willson), and two grandchildren

The Senate adjourns in his honor and directs the Clerk to transmit a copy to Senator Jimmy Higdon for delivery to the family
