The Kentucky Senate recognizes February 26, 2026 as The Links, Incorporated Day at the State Capitol and welcomes members of Kentucky chapters visiting that day.

The Links, Incorporated is an international nonprofit founded in 1946, now comprising 17,000 professional women of color across 299 chapters in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom.

Members contribute more than one million documented hours of community service annually, focused on economic and cultural enrichment of African Americans and persons of African descent.

Notable members include Vice President Kamala Harris, Children's Defense Fund founder Marian Wright Edelman, and former Spelman College president Johnetta Betsch Cole.

The Clerk of the Senate is directed to transmit a copy of the resolution to Senator Gerald Neal for presentation.
