Amends R.S. 37:3272 and 3276.2 to update and expand definitions for the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners, including terms for "applicant," "qualifying agent," "licensure," "private security business," "security officer," and "instructor"

Authorizes the Board to obtain criminal history record information from the Louisiana Bureau of Criminal Identification and Information and the FBI for applicants seeking licenses, registrations, certificates, or permits for private security work

Requires applicants to submit fingerprints and other identifying information to the bureau, which will be forwarded to the FBI for national criminal history record checks

Establishes that criminal history record information is confidential and may only be used by the Board, its members, and employees to evaluate applicant eligibility or disqualification

Prohibits release of criminal history information without written consent of the applicant unless ordered by a court of competent jurisdiction
