Requires criminal justice agencies to submit criminal justice data electronically through the Integrated Criminal Justice Information System (ICJIS) broker system

Mandates that post-sentence statements and documents for felony defendants committed to the Department of Public Safety and Corrections be submitted electronically rather than only in physical form

Electronic transmissions must comply with standards, protocols, security requirements, and certification procedures adopted by the ICJIS Policy Board

Agencies retain discretion over transmission methods until the ICJIS broker system is fully operational for their specific data exchange pathway, but must make continuous efforts toward full integration

Agencies unable to comply with ICJIS requirements must report to the policy board, which may recommend technical support or suspend electronic data exchange privileges pending remediation
