Louisiana Real Estate Commission appointment terms reduced from six years to four years

Commissioners may now serve up to two consecutive four-year terms instead of one six-year term

Commissioners who complete two consecutive terms must wait four years before becoming eligible to serve again

Current commissioners serving on the effective date are limited to one additional four-year term

Effective upon governor's signature or upon expiration of the signing period
