Requires real estate appraisers to complete at least 28 hours of continuing education credit prior to license or registration renewal, with courses approved by the board and in accordance with the Real Property Appraiser Qualification Criteria

Removes the previous requirement that appraisers complete a minimum of 7 continuing education hours specifically on Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) each renewal period

Revises the definition of "appraisal management company" to align with federal regulations at 12 C.F.R. 34.212, specifying threshold of overseeing more than 15 appraisers in one state or 25+ in two or more states

Expands the definition of "appraisal management services" to include recruiting/retaining appraisers, contracting with licensed appraisers, managing administrative processes, and reviewing/verifying appraiser work

Repeals R.S. 37:3398(C) regarding application timelines and R.S. 37:3415.10(D) sunset provision, with Section 1 effective January 1, 2026
