Amends Louisiana Code of Criminal Procedure Article 812 to allow jury polling in all cases, including when a verdict is not reached and a mistrial is declared under Article 775(2)

Requires the court to order written jury polling in open court when requested by the state or defendant, regardless of whether a verdict was reached

Establishes a new polling procedure for mistrials where jurors indicate their position by writing "guilty," "not guilty," or "guilty of a lesser offense" on signed slips of paper

Permits the court to place polling slips under seal with specific stated reasons, and requires juror names to be redacted if slips are later released to the public
