Eliminates 34 separate reporting requirements for the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) and the Department of Education, covering topics including teacher exit data, minimum foundation program audits, alternative education effectiveness, early childhood education, suicide prevention programs, and special education compliance

Abolishes the Early Childhood Care and Education Commission and transfers its duties to the existing Advisory Council on Early Childhood Care and Education, which will assume responsibilities for developing a vision for early childhood care, determining funding needs, and recommending policy changes

Abolishes the Louisiana Environmental Education Commission and transfers its curriculum framework development duties for K-12 environmental education programs directly to the Department of Education

Abolishes the Advisory Council on Student Behavior and Discipline, which previously advised BESE and the Department on best practices for school master plans on student behavior and discipline

Commission and advisory council abolitions take effect August 1, 2025, while the removal of reporting requirements becomes effective December 31, 2027
