Replaces the position of parish secretary-treasurer in Acadia Parish with a parish administrator, elected by the governing authority for a four-year term

The parish administrator's term begins two years after the start of the parish governing authority members' terms, rather than running concurrently as the secretary-treasurer position did

The current secretary-treasurer's term will terminate two years after it began, at which point the new parish administrator position takes effect

Vacancies occurring before term expiration are filled by appointment from the parish governing authority for the remainder of the unexpired term

The parish governing authority may hold an election for the new parish administrator position prior to the secretary-treasurer's term ending
