Increases the damage recovery limitation for uninsured motor vehicle owners/operators from $15,000 to $100,000 for bodily injury and from $25,000 to $100,000 for property damage arising from accidents

Uninsured vehicle owners who sue for damages and receive awards of $100,000 or less for bodily injury will be held liable for all court costs incurred by all parties

Insurers retain subrogation rights to recover amounts paid on claims that exceed the $100,000 bodily injury and $100,000 property damage thresholds from uninsured at-fault parties

Amends R.S. 32:866 regarding compulsory motor vehicle liability security requirements in Louisiana
