Attorneys who are not the attorney of record must file a disclosure with the court if they reasonably expect to earn $1,000 or more in fees from a case

Attorneys must also disclose financial interests of $1,000 or more they expect to earn from a case recovery through individual capacity or business entities, excluding fees for legal services provided in the case

All information required to be disclosed is discoverable, and nondisclosure agreements that prevent these disclosures are null and unenforceable

Officers of the court who have knowledge of attorneys violating these disclosure requirements must file a complaint with the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board
