Requires constitutional amendments to be "clearly confined to one object," strengthening the existing single-subject requirement for proposed amendments

Eliminates the legislature's current authority to propose a revision of an entire constitutional article as one amendment containing multiple objects or changes

Retains existing requirements that amendments include a title with a brief summary and set forth the full text of sections being revised or added

Requires two-thirds vote of elected members in each legislative house to submit the proposed amendment to voters

Scheduled for submission to Louisiana voters at the November 3, 2026 statewide election
