Repeals the existing district map (R.S. 24:35.3) and enacts new district definitions (R.S. 24:35.2) specifying precise precinct compositions for each district across all 64 parishes

New districts become effective upon governor's signature for election qualifying and conduct purposes for the 2027 regular legislative elections only

Full implementation for all other purposes occurs at 10:00 a.m. on January 10, 2028, when current officeholders' terms based on old districts are protected until that date

Precinct references are based on the "2025 Precinct Shapefiles (01-16-2025)" file incorporating parish-submitted changes through January 16, 2025, with district boundaries remaining fixed regardless of future precinct modifications
