Human services district and authority boards must adopt standardized performance indicators, conduct insurance/Medicaid billing assessments, complete the Integration Practice Assessment Tool (IPAT), and perform annual patient satisfaction surveys, with findings reported to the Louisiana Department of Health and made publicly available online.

Boards must prepare annual reports on progress toward statewide health goals, including program overviews, performance metrics, identified challenges, and improvement plans.

Each board must hold an annual meeting in Baton Rouge to inform elected officials on their work within their jurisdiction.

The Louisiana Department of Health must compile board reports and submit a statewide summary to the House and Senate Health and Welfare Committees by February 1 each year.

The LDH secretary's authority over policy, development, implementation, and monitoring of the statewide human services system is clarified by removing the requirement to consult with human services districts and authorities.
