Allows notaries to obtain certified copies of death certificates from the state registrar when assisting an heir with a small succession proceeding

Requires the notary to submit credentials and provide a written declaration stating they are helping an heir of the deceased

Small successions must be prepared in accordance with Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure Article 3431 et seq.

Amends R.S. 40:41(C) by adding new paragraph (6) to the existing disclosure of records statute
