Creates a 10-member special legislative committee to conduct a comprehensive study of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association's (LHSAA) policies, governance structure, and impact on public, private, and parochial schools

Committee membership includes the speaker pro tempore, president pro tempore, education committee chairmen from both chambers (or designees), four additional House members, and two additional Senate members appointed by education committee chairs

Study scope covers LHSAA rules and contracts, potential conflicts of interest with school officials, transfer rules, school classification policies, academic priorities, financial costs and benefits of membership, and alternative governance models

Committee has full standing committee powers including authority to hold hearings, subpoena witnesses, administer oaths, and require production of records

Committee active from July 1, 2025 through February 14, 2026, with a final report due to both House and Senate Education Committees by February 14, 2026
