Creates a task force to study and evaluate merging the Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission and the Louisiana Used Motor Vehicle Commission into a single regulatory entity

Task force comprises 12 members including the governor or designee, attorney general or designee, 2 senators, 2 representatives, 2 commissioners from each commission, the Louisiana Automobile Dealers Association president, and one new car and one used car dealer appointed by the governor

Task force must review governance structures, licensing and enforcement processes, staffing, technology infrastructure, budgets, regulatory rules, and best practices from other states that have consolidated similar commissions

Initial meeting required by August 1, 2025, with a final report of findings and recommendations due to the Legislature by December 31, 2025

Members serve without compensation; Louisiana Motor Vehicle Commission provides staff support; task force may request information from any state agency
