Fewer than half of child care providers offer staff paid sick days, and fewer than one-third provide health insurance or retirement benefits

Nearly half of child care providers who lost staff in 2024 reported employees left for jobs offering higher wages

Encourages all Louisianians to recognize child care providers and extends appreciation to early childhood educators for their contributions to the state
