Louisiana House of Representatives expresses condolences upon the death of Caleb Jayden Wilson, born November 1, 2004, to Corey Wilson, Sr., and Urania Brown Wilson of Kenner, Louisiana

Caleb was a trumpet player who participated in The Roots of Music and Trombone Shorty Foundation programs, performing in France, Cuba, and across the United States; he was a founding member of the 110 Brass Band

Graduated from Warren Easton High School where he served as band captain and trumpet section leader, and earned a certificate in general studies from Delgado Community College through dual enrollment

At the time of his death, Caleb was a junior majoring in mechanical engineering at Southern University and A&M College, and a member of the university's "Human Jukebox" band, performing at Super Bowl LIX and the Bayou Classic

Resolution extends sincere wishes to his surviving family, including parents Corey and Urania Wilson, siblings Coren and Corey Jr., and extended family members
