Creates a 16-member Louisiana State Homeland Security Task Force including representatives from the governor's office, attorney general, Louisiana State Police, National Guard, FBI New Orleans field office, and other state agencies and associations

Task force will assess threats to critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, transportation systems, and intellectual property, and evaluate risks from foreign acquisitions and hardware procurement from adversarial nations

Cites the January 1, 2025 New Orleans terrorist attack and concerns about unauthorized drones (UAS), cyber attacks, foreign acquisition of agricultural lands near military installations, and violations of the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act

Members serve without compensation and must submit findings and legislative recommendations to the House of Representatives at least 60 days before the 2026 Regular Session

Task force authority expires one year after its initial meeting unless extended by the legislature
