Restructures the Louisiana State Museum Board of Directors to include 4 ex officio members (governor, lieutenant governor, Senate president, House speaker or their designees) plus 17 appointed members, with new appointments beginning January 15, 2029

Reduces nominating organizations' board representation (Friends of the Cabildo, Louisiana Museum Foundation, and Friends of Capitol Park Museum each reduced from 2 to 1 seat) and adds a new seat nominated by the Vieux Carre Commission

Transfers administrative authority for commercial and residential leasing of museum properties from the board to the office of the state museum, which may now contract with property management companies

Removes several museum facilities from the enumerated list (Winn Parish Museum, Natchitoches Parish Old Courthouse Museum, Louisiana Forestry Museum) and adds the Capitol Park Museum and Louisiana Civil Rights Museum

Changes board quorum requirement from a simple majority to 10 members and shifts the board's role from establishing fiscal policies to providing advice and counsel on museum matters
