LA SB226

Prohibits foreign adversaries and "prohibited foreign actors" from purchasing, leasing, or acquiring immovable property in Louisiana, applying to contracts entered after August 1, 2023

Expands the definition of "prohibited foreign actor" to include individual citizens of foreign adversary nations (not just business entities), unless they are U.S. permanent legal residents or lawfully present via DHS authorization

Authorizes the attorney general to seek injunctive relief, civil penalties of $50,000, and civil forfeiture if violators fail to divest property within one year of judgment

Grants courts authority to revoke business licenses, appoint receivers, dissolve domestic corporations, or terminate foreign entities' right to do business in Louisiana for violations

Exempts entities with national security agreements with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) that maintain the agreement and certify its validity annually to Louisiana's Military Department
