Amends R.S. 56:306.5(B) to change the timing requirement for wholesale/retail seafood dealers to provide commercial receipt forms to commercial fishermen from "at the time" of transaction to "within twenty-four hours" of the transaction

Extends the deadline for dealers to record required transaction information (dealer name, license number, fisherman details, species data, pricing) from immediate to within 24 hours of each purchase or transfer

Maintains existing requirements for three-part commercial receipt forms signed by both parties, with one copy to the dealer, one transmitted to the fisherman, and one to the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries

Effective August 1, 2025
